Shotcut Preset issue

Hi,

I created a FLOATY text effect, using “size and position” effect, and saved it as a preset.

Then I went ahead and tried to use the effect in another clip. But the filter is now

Applying to the video instead of the text, please help

This is expected. The SPR filter affects the entire clip, not just a single text filter. The “clip” in this case is a video file, not just a text filter.

To move text while leaving the video alone, simply do what you did in the first screenshot:

• Put video clip on V1
• Put a transparent color clip on V2, then place the text and SPR preset on this V2 clip
