Hello,
Trying to cut or copy a selected part of a video from the timeline to the playlist by clcking on the ‘plus’ icon - it does not respond.
By T&E I found when I click on the ‘Source’ tab under the viewer, only then the ‘Plus’ icon is responding.
Is this normal or somethin wrong ?
Checked in the previous version (220623), had not to do as mentioned above.
Answers will be appreciated.

just updated to latest version, cant add videos to the time line.
Can’t duplicate the issue.
Perhaps you have the keyframes tab activated. If it is just click on the top for the timeline symbol.
Dragging from the file folder works great.
Append and Paste work just fine as well.
