Shotcut makes shutdown. Possible failure

Doing true peak tests, it happened several times off of SC coinciding with the following operation:
-I remove content from the timeline.
-I eliminate the track (in this case, video track)Drag (from the playlist) the same video clip that I previously removed from the timeline to the timeline for the automatic creation of a video track.
-After a few seconds, Shotcut closes.

This behavior was already happening in previous versions.
I thought it was a specific situation due to a failure of my pc.

Your steps and screenshot are very clear. I tried to reproduce the problem myself several times, but I was not able to. I will keep an eye out for this.

Can anyone else reproduce it?

I don’t know what the problem is but maybe it could be something from my system.
Something similar happens with the loudness meter, where the true peak value registers exaggerated values. :open_mouth:
I usually temporarily fix these problems by restarting Shotcut. I try to avoid doing the process that blocks SC, but sometimes I don’t remember and SC shuts down.

As I won’t have much free time now my activity here will drop noticeably. :sleepy:
I will keep track of the progress.
Thank you.:grinning:

I also tried with MacOS10.11, I was not able to reproduce this problem.
