Shotcut labels video with file name

Shotcut newbie. When I save a video the name of the video appears on the screen at the end of the video. This is totally obnoxious. Even If I save the video under one name and then change the name the new file name will appear onscreen at the end of the video. How do I get rid of this?

I have no idea what you are talking about. Show a screenshot. I think you might be talking about some other software because Shotcut does not automatically put the file name at the end of your video.

I think I figured it out. It was the viewer in win10 that I was using. It showed the file name at the end of the clip. I changed to a different viewer and the behavior changed.

Not shortcut, the viewer. Is there a consolidated source of info about the program? The tutorials and forums don’t tell me what I want to know.
