Shotcut keeps crashing and have to force quit + no icon on Launchpad

Hi,

  1. we have the latest Mac OS and every time we press "play"on Shotcut whilst editing video, the programme crashes and we have to force quit to restart.

  2. Also there is no icon on the Launchpad to launch Shotcut

Does anyone have any ideas?
