Shotcut deleted itself randomly so I decided to go get it back. I download the setup and every single time, it says this the first time, “Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files\Shotcut\Copying.TXT”.

Something in Windows must have that file (COPYING.txt, which is the text of the Free Software license that Shotcut uses) locked for some reason. It can be hard to track down the source of the lock. It is easiest to just try to restart Windows and try again. Also, it is very strange that Shotcut deleted itself. Make sure you are getting Shotcut from its web site’s download page.
