have created sections in timeline on a video. 4-5 times i tried adjust playback speed on a section, shotcut crashed. program just closed.

Developers have been unable to reproduce. When we run into it, we will look into. In the meantime, you can try to use Properties > Convert on the file, and try it on the converted version.
