for some reason some of the videos that i open in shotcut have around 75 hours of nothing added to the end. even if i cut down the footage to the right amount its still laggy and doesnt work. is there a fix to this or anyone that is having the same problem?
This is specific to the files created by whatever tool you are using. It sounds like they are incompatible with Shotcut. We use whatever duration is provided by the extremely reliable and versatile FFmpeg libraries. You can try converting those files with another tool and ensure they are constant frame rate in the process.
i have used other videos recorded with the same software and its fine. it almost seems random with if it will work or not
