"Scrub while dragging" with only one clip in the timeline

What is your operating system? Windows 10

What is your Shotcut version 21.05.18

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

  • Put a single clip in the timeline
  • Toggle Scrub while dragging
  • Move the clip

The playhead acts weird and don’t always end up where it should.

I suppose it as something to do with the timeline changing length every time the clip is moved.
When there is another clip, the timeline isn’t constantly resized and the scrubbing goes as expected.

More specifically, it seems to work when moving to the left (making the timeline shorter) but not when moving to the right (making the timeline longer). Also, it seems to be offset by about the amount that the timeline was extended.

I accept this as a bug, but maybe it is minor so I am not sure if I will make it a priority.
