I am facing some troubles… shotcut is not saving my project, everytime I am restarting my computer, the recent work list is empty… I have searched for the lost projects everywhere, but cannot find… I went to settings, auto save file… but still there is nothing stored there… please help… I cannot work like this 
You have to save any work that you do manually.
If Shotcut crashes, it attempts to auto save a project file.
When you save a project, it generates a .mlt file. The mlt file is basically a text file, and will be very small in size.
