Reversing reversed movie produces bad sound

Hello,

I have used Shotgut to reverse a reversed movie (cine experimentel Koyaanisqatsi _ (1982)-v6-K-arVl-Ukoyaanis). Shotgut works great.

But. The reversed sound has been given annoying ticks and there were none in the original film.
I don’t know how to prevent this. I have tried different video formats with no improvement.

What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug in shotgut.

When reversing a video, audio sample accuracy is not always perfect and sometimes results in audio artifacts. This is as good as Shotcut can do right now.

You should return to the original file instead of reversing a reversed video. In fact, if you are using a somewhat recent version of Shotcut, Shotcut will usually automatically do this when using Properties > Reverse on a timeline clip.

Thanks for the support.
I had only found a reversed movie i liked. So i was looking for software to reverse this movie and found shotgut. I could not reduce the bad sound whatever i tried. I already found a normal movie.
