I am new at all this and would like to know how to use Shotcut to start a YouTube Channel and to make a Facebook Live Video?

You can edit videos with Shotcut and upload them on YouTube. But you don’t actually use Shotcut to start a channel. And I presume Facebook Live is used to broadcast from your webcam. Shotcut won’t help you to do that either.
If you want to learn how to use Shotcut to edit videos, then I’m afraid it can’t be done with in one discussion here. I suggest you start by visiting Shotcut’s tutorial page and also the forum’s tutorial category. You’ll find many videos there to help you start on the right foot.
Then, if you have specific questions about editing, we’ll be happy to help you the best we can, here on the forum.
