so i am trying to edit a video that has my charater hide behind a pole that is way to thin so i was going to use mask so that when he “hides” behind the pole he will disappear behind the other video. but everytime i try to use the mask simple shape it does nothing. the video won’t let me show the video behind it. so all you see is just the pole and no dog charater running to hide behind it. and if i put the other video on top you see the dog “hide behind it” (he just runs past it.) and instead of him looking like he disappaered behind the pole you see him run behind it and past it.
how do i get the mask simple shape to work?
