Pitch Compensation Selection & Scrub While Dragging issue

Windows 11 Shotcut Version 25.08.16

1 In Properties tab > Pitch Compensation, button doesn’t want to turn on unless the speed is first changed to other than 1.0 Then the button can be selected.

2 Scrub while dragging on Timeline - the scrub is on whether the button in turn On or Of

Both of these are normal behaviors.

  1. There is nothing to compensate if the speed is not 1
  2. You cannot ever turn off scrub completely because that would break seeking and therefore editing. This is about scrubbing when dragging and trimming clips.
    This is not the same thing as Settings > Player > Scrub Audio. “Scrubbing” is not only about audio! There is a definition of it in our docs.
