In imovie there is this filter, you can pause a video using a single frame, so for example this would work the same way as screen shooting the video… This would make it easier instead of turning down the video to 0.0250 speed

You could also have Shotcut export a single frame of your video and import that image back in to the project. Maybe not as convenient as a pause filter but it’s another option.
ya for sure, but it would be easier if it was a click of a filter lol

OMG YEEEEES I really hope the devs notice this, it would speed up the workflow and make my project folders much less cramped and less messy because I wouldn’t have to export and save the frame.
