New build will not export (july 2023 download)

I just upgraded to the newest build and export no longer works. Paralell processing is not checked. No error messages, the job window on upper right of screen stays on 0%. No problems with older versions

What version number (or Build) did you download (23.07.xx)? Read this :

This is fixed for the next version. The upgrade to SDL2.dll to very latest release 2.28.1 to fix the sound device changes on Windows broke it for some odd reason. I had to slightly downgrade it to version 2.26.2. A rebuild of Shotcut 23.07.08 is in progress.
