I really miss from other editing softwares to be able to mask things out without it having to be a square or a form like that. So you can mask out more complicated things and with keyframes. You would be able to do a lot of cool stuff with that. And if you are planning on doing this then when because else im just gonna use hitfilm.

Great idea! It would be wonderful to have an advanced masking function.
This is on the road map. The backend is already written (capability in the engine). We are still missing a UI. I expect it by the end of the year, but I cannot say. You should also know that you can use multiple instances of Mask: Simple Shape and combine shapes using the Operation parameter. You can also use anything else that affects the alpha channel such as Chroma Key and Alpha Channel: Adjust.
