Mask: Simple Shape doesn't work in 23.06.07 and 23.06.10 (GitHub)

What is your operating system? Windows 10

What is your Shotcut version? 23.06.07 and 23.06.10

Just to let you know that in both of the versions mentioned above (from GitHub), aside from the rectangle control, the Mask: Simple Shape filter doesn’t work.

recent renaming commits breaking compatibility

Now, anything referencing the plugins by their name including code, project file…s, and scripts will no longer load the expected plugin. am referring to commits: 7228e0fb4fb9d99a207e651529fc9a990c771c53 ad4cbc890bbdedb227eb28af1f5e09976847f280 dbb348630c08a55f7705df83662bd7fe0f4c6275 929afe1e4425b92be448ed31a8860c61d4544a10 Is a major compatibility break really improvement - just to have names that you prefer? Now, I need to add a compatibility shim in MLT, but I suspect others will complain too.

Hmm… Maybe it is related to my bug report, but I don’t understand how, sorry.

I created that bug report as a result of this bug report. You do not understand Shotcut internals well enough to understand. In any case, I will be pinning the frei0r version that Shotcut’s builds use until that bug is resolved one way or another. Tomorrow’s builds will reflect that temporary fix.
