What is your operating system?
Linux MX Linux:
Desktop: Xfce 4.18.1 tk: Gtk 3.24.24 info: xfce4-panel wm: xfwm 4.18.0 vt: 7
dm: LightDM 1.26.0 Distro: MX-21.3_ahs_x64
What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
22.12.21 Maybe not!!! 64bit as above.
Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
1 - Without melt 7, it will NOT export anything, and I get the following error, with melt 7, it works fine.
/usr/bin/nice: '/usr/bin/melt-7': No such file or directory
Failed with exit code 127
2 - Shotcut’s version list the date that it was backported - see image.
I’m posting without reading the guidelines, apologies if I’ve broken any rules beforehand, but I’d like to quickly mention something; and apologies for assuming that ‘Shotcut’ may forward this to Debian, but Shotcut, or actually maybe Debian (and I’m a linux newb, so….) has a Shotcut bug or two.
1 – Shotcut’s version list the date that it was, backported - see image link.

Pretty nice, eh - where’s the release announcement!
2 – Shotcut version 22.12.21, as I understand, [melt >= 7.1] needs to be added as a dependency, and Debian does not mention that.
Without melt 7, it will NOT export anything, and I get this error, with melt 7, it works fine.
See error exit code 127 above.
Anyway, I hope this helps you, and/or others and thank you very much for Shotcut.
I’m melting.
