Left 1/3 of screen is blacked out for every video in project

I can’t get anything to appear in a 1/3 width black rectangle on the left of the screen. When I drag clips towards it they just get hidden underneath the black rectangle,

Would really appreciate help thanks so much

What’s the filter you have on the Master track?

Also, you really should upgrade to the latest version of Shotcut. Click on the Download page above and get it. Although, I would recommend you finish the project you are doing there first then upgrade to the latest version just to avoid any possible issues.

Thank you very much it was the Master track - I had added a crop filter that I wasn’t aware of and it had ben applied to every track.
