What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
22.06.23
Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Yes
Place a contrast filter on any clip.
Set a keyframe at the beginning with a low value.
Set a keyframe at the end with a high value.
At this point, it works fine.
Remove the second keyframe.
The contrast value should be the same as the keyframe at the beginning, for the whole length of the clip.
However, this is not the case, the value of the UI slider is good, but not the image in the player which turns black.
What is your operating system? Windows 10 What is your Shotcut version 22.12.21 and 23.03 Alpha
I also found a bug with the Contrast filter on Windows, but it’s a bit different from the one experienced by @Namna on his Mac: The filter doesn’t accept keyframes at all.
Here’s an example of the problem. I captured it in the Alpha release, but it’s also present in v22.12.21
I do not recreate this. Can you try again with the Beta? If it still occurs for you, can you attach the application log? Also, it might be nice to create a separate thread for this.
