Keep playhead in place when selecting/moving clips?

When I move any clip, playhead jumps to the clip start and moves with it. It’s very inconvenient when you try to align the clip end to a specific time (e.g., pause in another clip audio). Is it me, missing some option or is it a missing feature?
I’d like to keep playhead in place when I move clips.

Shotcut v22.06.23 portable, Windows

There is a scrub-while-dragging toggle on the timeline toolbar.
