Dear friends. I just updated my software to the latest version, and I am not sure if it’s me or there is a bug in the new version. It just hangs up with no warning, or even restarts my computer. This has been going on ever since I downloaded the new version and updated it. I could be working on a project, and when I click on some button or a clip, all of a sudden the screen goes black for about 5 seconds, either it goes back to the project, or it shuts down the program. Once in a while, it restarts my computer.
I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and how to fix it.

If your computer is restarting, it is not Shotcut’s fault. You might have bad memory or a buggy driver. No one else is reporting it, and there are tens of thousands of people on the “new” version already. Downgrade to an older version and see if the problem goes away.
