Install Issues on MAC

I am trying to install the latest version of Shotcut on a Mac. It has macOS 10.14.6, but it keeps giving an error . We have tried updating the Mac. To my understanding 10.14.6 is greater than 10.10… Any advice?

It works for me on my macOS 10.14.6 system. Please provide the exact file name of what you downloaded. From where did you download?
Were you able to install a previous version of Shotcut?

https://shotcut.org/download/ We tried both the FossHub and the GitHub versions. We have not tried to install previous versions of Shotcut.

Again. There is now an Intel or ARM version. Maybe you downloaded the wrong one. It should be Intel since ARM requires latest macOS.
