How to know size of project before exporting

Hi,

I’m new in this forum.
I just tried shotcut which is an amazing tool. thanks to devs who work hard for it !

My first project was for cutting (remove few secondes at start and end) few parts of a video of 2.6go. without modifying the basics option for the export, I got a video of 5Go… which is really too big !
I am wondering whther it is possible to know size of the exported video before exporting in order to adjust parameters.

Use constant or average bitrate, add them for audio and video, multiply by 1.05 to account for the container format overhead (depends on format). Then, do the math: multiply the combined bitrate number by the project duration in seconds and divide by 8 to convert bits to bytes.
