I have the original clip in 4k quality. I need to get the result with full hd quality. I also need to apply some filters. I want all filtering to take place with the same quality as the original clips, and resizing takes place only at the stage of encoding the result.
If I set the project properties immediately as full hd, will all internal work be done with the quality of the source clips (4k) or should the project properties be set to 4k and set to full hd only at the export stage?
This one. Image processing is done at the Video Mode resolution, but you can downscale that result using Export > Advanced > Video > Resolution.
