How do I select multiple items in the playlist section and drag it into the video track?

I have many images that I want to transfer to a video track, but there’s only either add one at a time, or the button for “Add All to Timeline.”

What does the “Add All to Timeline” do, because I want to be able to add 10 or 20 images at a time to prevent shotcut from freezing up.

Add all to timeline, adds everything in the playlist to the timeline.
