How can I make the audio waveform appear all the time even though I’m muting said track?

Hi @blueinferno2001, there’s an easy way. Apply a “Gain/Volume” filter to your audio track, and reduce the level to its lowest. No sound - but the waveform stays.

Use the mute filter, it just does what it says on the tin. Plus the waveform will stay there so u can sync up video tracks or whatever you want to do.

Ah, thanks @scellycraftyt - actually I didn’t know there was a mute filter - I do now!

Just to add for @blueinferno2001 - you can add the filter to either individual audio CLIPS, or to the TRACK HEADER for global muting.
