How do I edit raw video?

Up until now I’ve been working entirely with MOV files from my DSLR. I want to switch to using raw video. I downloaded a test clip in mxf format, and another in nev format.

However, it appears that shotcut cannot open either of these formats. How do I edit raw video in shotcut?

Cameras raw is not supported as indicated in the road map page. You need to use some other utility, probably vendor supplied, to convert it.
