If you put your text on a track above your video clip and apply the glitch filter to the text clip, the video below shouldn’t get glitchtified

Good to know. I was trying to add glitch to just text on a transparency to save as a preset MLT file but it looks like I will always need a background in order for it to work. Thanks for the confimation guys!
