What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)? Is it 32-bit?
from 2021 to 2023 some
Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
(Please be specific and use the names as seen in Shotcut, preferably English. Include a screenshot or screen recording if you can. Also, you can attach logs from either View > Application Log or right-click a job and choose View Log.)
if i load a new video, than i got values like 22.3 , 30.7 , 28.5 , 31.0000357 at the frame
rate. i am not sure in my last meaning, but can that come from the recording program
or are these random values. how can be so recorded if the value set only to 30.0?
Hints to make a use full bug report.
For the shotvut developers have at chance to fix an issue, they must have very precise instruction to reproduce the issue, if they can’t reproduce it, then it is not possible to fix it, in many cases.
- Use the latest version of shotcut and report that version, from 2021 to 2023, is not very useful.
- it is much easier to show, than to tell, use screenshot of the project or even better a simple mlt file, there can be used to reproduce the issue,
- show screenshots of properties window, if it is related to special media like in this case.
They more work you put into making a good bug report, the larger is the chance that it can be fixed.
Shotcut is free and open source, so you don’t pay any money for it, but you can pay by spending the time to test and make good bug reports, to help the delevopers and increase the quality of the project.
This is not a bug in Shotcut. It is a problem in your capture software or device not generating constant frame rate.
if you confirm this meaning, i will accept it, thank you.
