Filter options: text/title

Hello
(Arch Linux, KDE, Shotcut 26.8.1)
I’ve been using Shotcut for two weeks and I’m having a problem with the filter options: the text/titles aren’t appearing. (Here’s a screenshot that will probably be clearer.)
Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be the solution?

This is due to your KDE theme causing a problem to Shotcut. Shotcut thinks you are using a light theme and thus show text as black. In Shotcut Settings > Theme, try a different option.

I found this problem can occur with the following combination: system light theme Shotcut default Fusion Dark theme The environment variable QT_QUICK_CONTROLS_CONF is set. Shotcut needs to set this on itself to set the palette for some components. However, it will not if it is already set (respect the user-defined env var). Change one of these and the problem goes away. I have a KDE Neon (based on Ubuntu 24.04) system, and it does not define that env var. Run echo $QT_QUICK_CONTROLS_CONF in …

I’m not at home right now, so I’ll fix it initially by switching to a light theme, but I prefer using a dark theme, so I’ll delve into the code later.
