The primary reason for the difference in file size is the resolution. The small files are “standard definition” and the huge files are “High Definition”. High definition files can be 2x-4x larger than similar standard definition files.
When you create your project, carefully choose a Settings > Video Mode for the project. If you only need low resolution, then your files will be much smaller.
