Fast way for exporting video files after audio edit?

Hey there,

I primarily use shotcut to adjust the audio settings of my different audio tracks of my videos (.mkv).
Is there any way to just edit these and “save” the video as it is - kind a like 1:1 export, with the differences I made to the audio tracks?

I already tried to export the video back into .mkv again, but it fails everytime, so I have to export it into .mp4 which works fine, but it takes about 30 to 60 minutes for 1.5 - 2.5 Gb videos.

It’s not free, but Soundforge Audio Studio 12 will do it quickly. You could also try AVIdemux which is free but not as easy to use.

That would be indeed a cool, handy and time saving feature for future versions of Shotcut to apply filters to the audio stream without the need to encode the video stream aswell on export.
Currently this is not possible.
