Hello,

I created a mp4 video (resolution : 1280x720, 16:9, codec libx364, quality 60%, GOP :30). The weight of the vidéo is 560Mo for a duration of 15mn. I would like to reduce the weight of this video. Can you explain me how to reduce the weight of this vidéo ? Il would like to show the vidéo in a web page. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried the YouTube preset.

I just tested a 29 minute 1280x720 video which was 770Mb before then 706Mb after using YouTube preset. Parr for the course I think. If you want a much smaller file then you will lose quality. You can’t have it both ways :slight_smile:

If size is your objective, I would suggest switching from x264 to x265.
