Errors with reported "Scan mode" and "Field order" of clips when added to timeline

I have some interlaced clips that report their “Scan mode” and “Field order” correctly when checking them from within the playlist, but when added in the timeline using “Add all to timeline” they are reported with errors (the instances in the timeline): they should all read Interlaced and Top Field First, but they are reported as:

1st clip in timeline: Interlaced & Top
last clip in timeline: Progressive & Bottom
rest of the clips in timeline: Interlaced & Bottom

Checked at PC with Windows 10 64bit and Mac with OS X 10.11.6, Shotcut 18.03.06.

Problem remains: clips report their “Scan mode” and “Field order” correctly when checking them from within the playlist, but when added in the timeline using “Add all to timeline” they are reported with errors (the instances in the timeline). Just noticed that the problem exists with progressive video clips as well!

This is fixed for the next release:

A workaround is to ensure the playhead is over the selected clip (assuming the track is not hidden and track above has not disabled compositing).

Just a followup note to report that this was fixed for v18.07 but only when Settings > GPU Effects is OFF.
