Erreur de segmentation (core dumped) after update

Hello,

I did a linux update ( sudo pacman -Syu) on my archlinux system.
Now, I cannot add any file (video, music, still picture )
Under a terminal, I get :

/dev/sdivideotx0: unable to get the file status: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
could not open video output destination: /dev/sdivideotx0

Same problem with Shotcut from your download page : Shotcut crashes.

Problem solved :
I erased all Meltytech folders in

  • /.local/share
  • /.config
  • /.cache

Because I always use another linux system, I did all the updates … and Shotcut was still working on my backup, meaning something was wrong with my archlinux OS !
This is how I found what was going on.

Really strange.
First, I re-installed Linux and all apps (keeping home partition).
Shotcut was crashing when adding any media.
Then only, I knew it was not a system failure.

Perhaps this topic will help someone using Linux !
