Delta between 2 clips

I encoded a 26min movie. Then I cut out 1 min from 9:00 to 10:00 and added fad out/in and encoded that.

Now I have AV sync problems that I can see at 7:00 I was doing some other work and noticed the video hiccup a little: it paused then jumped and was back in sync.

To try and narrow down where the problem is, I’d like to compare the two vids frame by frame and look for differences. There shouldn’t be any until the fade at 9:00.

Anyone know of such a tool/filter?

There is a product (free software under the GPL v2 license) called Kinovea (https://www.kinovea.org/) that bills itself as providing a set of tools to capture, slow down, study, compare, annotate and measure technical performances and which can do what you are asking for (and a lot more besides). See here how to compare two videos frame by frame: https://www.kinovea.org/help/en/106.html
