Shotcut closes/crashes unexpected after multiple UNDO (CTRL Z shortcut command)
What is your Shotcut version? It sounds like an old bug that was supposed to have been fixed at the start of the new year. Would you compare it to this bug report and see if it looks familiar? Otherwise please give more detailed steps to reproduce.
