Crash where I open files MLT as clips

I use windows 11 and the next version (24 08) of shotcut.
I trie to use an animated text created by Jonray, with “open files as MLT” and Shotcut crashes when I put the files on the timeline or if I want read the work.

it’s the same problem with others files …

I reproduced. But for me, Shotcut only crashes if there is already something in the Timeline.

For example:

  • Any clip on V1
  • Nothing on V2
  • Open MLT XML As Clip
  • Drag the MLT clip from the Source to track V2 = Crash

If I drag the MLT clip on an empty Timeline: No crash

for me, shotcut crashes in the both situations.
