I have searched but couldn’t find an answer to this.
I have a family video that was shot on a phone that I want to convert to a monochrome/Film Noir style instead of colour.
Can someone help me here, not even sure Shotcut can do this or not.

Hi, easy with video filter Saturation, level 0, or Hue/Lightness/saturation , applied to the selected family video track.

Another possible option, since you mention Film Noir, would be to use the Gradient Map filter. It gives you more control over the dark and bright areas.
