Can't type into Text Filter Fields without triggering keybindings

Filing this under Help because I’ve not seen the issue anywhere else and I’m sure it’s just caused by my setup. Should I try a different type of install?

  • What is your operating system?

    • Artix Linux
    • Wayland
    • Installed from pacman: extra/shotcut

  • What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?

    • 25.08.16

  • Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?

    • Create Text:Simple filter
    • Click inside the Text field to begin typing
    • Type into it any key that is a shotcut keybinding (for example: ‘o’ or ‘s’)
    • The keybindings trigger, and the letter is not entered into the text field

It has been reported here and on GitHub multiple times. Here is one

I fixed all of the options on our Download page by keeping Qt at 6.8.3, but I cannot fix Qt or tell distros to not deploy any Qt version after 6.8. The Qt bug shows it might be fixed for their upcoming 6.10.1 release, and I will check it as soon as it becomes available.
