Can't start shotcut anymore - version `GLIBC_2.29' not found

I’ve been using shotcut without any trouble for a few weeks now. However as of today, I’m not able to start shotcut and get the following error when I try to :

Anyone has a idea on how to solve this ?

Exactly same problem here. I installed and worked with shotcut the last half year, all was fine, all of a sudden this error. Why? Which information can I provide to get help?

I uploaded new snap, AppImage, and portable builds compatible with Ubuntu 18.04, Mint 19, and the like.
