Can't find snap-installed Linux shotcut on my machine

I installed shotcut via snap (as per the download page) and all appears to have gone well. But I can’t find shotcut to launch it. I can, of course, d/l and use the portable version, but it’d be useful to find what I’ve already installed.

The installation is under Ubuntu 16.0.3 LTS.

ADDED: The above is no longer valid - I changed Linux rev.s and Shotcut has been updated. See other topics re: using snap installation.

The snaps are gone from the repo. I tried either finding them on the page or using the snap command, but they’re not there.

Somehow, the package was switched to Private. I probably did that accidentally while looking for some option. I just switched it back to public. Try again.
