So I recently upgraded my version of Shotcut, and before when I would drag a file from the playlist into the player and make a clip from it, the next time I dragged that file from the playlist into the player the file would be at the points where I took the clip from. Now in this latest update whenever I do the same, it causes that file to go back to the start of it rather than where I left off. I attached a video for reference. Any help figuring out how to change this back would be appreciated, thank you!
Something did change with respect to Playlist. Now, when you drag from Playlist to Source, it makes a copy of the playlist item unlinked from it–similar to right-click the playlist item and choose Copy. In order to edit the playlist item in Source you must double-click it–the same as choosing Open in the context menu; that behavior has not changed. You can change your workflow to either double-click the playlist item or drag from Source to the Timeline.
