Cannot Layer Audio/Video Clips Without It Splitting

Hello,

Ive been using this editing program for 5-6 months now with little to no issues until today. I am simply trying to add a song to an audio track under a video clip. When i drag the audio file to audio track 1, the video moves to the end. I am unable to layer additional video clips as well. Any help is appreciated

Ripple trim and drop and Ripple edits across all tracks is probably on.
