Start a new project. Make sure Automatic mode is on for the video mode. Add a video or audio track in the timeline. Bring in a video by going to Open File, Add Files To Playlist or just dragging the video into Shotcut. The project’s video mode won’t change to the resolution and fps of the video brought in and the project’s video mode will stay at 1080p 25fps.
