To add or replace the audio track of a video clip I use mainly “AVIDemux”. If the audio track is longer then the video, it cuts the audio at the end of the video.
Another free program is “Video to Video (converter)”, in this program it asks if to cut at the shortest file.
I brought this examples because going to ask if such a feature is in “Shotcut”, because in the above programs cannot do the editing “Shotcut” does.
Otherwise have to prepare the audio file same duration as the video, with an audio editor program.
