2025 Update on native chroma subsampling and bit depth?

Hello everyone, has there been an update on the internal workings of shotcut, such that it can natively process 444 12bit Video with effects? I highly request it for better post-production flexibility.

You should read the News section of the web site. It does have support for 4:4:4 as long as you avoid certain filters that have #yuv but not #10bit in their keywords. #gpu and #rgb(a) can accommodate 4:4:4 but #yuv without #10bit is a legacy 4:2:2 filter. 10-bit is supported but not 12-bit.
