I edited a video and I didn’t have time to save it. Suddenly the program closed by itself. I can’t locate the video and I have important information in this video. I went into the folder TEMP(Windows 10) but I can’t locate anything from this work. Please tell me when the program(SHOTCUT) closes by itself, where does it temporarily store the file so that I can locate it?
I am waiting for your help, it is urgent.

You might find a project file (xxxxx.mlt) in the folder:

C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Meltytech\Shotcut\autosave

From time to time we get queries on the forum like: My project file has somehow become corrupted, what can I do? Start Shotcut, if there is an auto-saved recovery file for an un-saved project it will tell you and offer to restore it. Otherwise, you can look in the folder Elusien shows but it’s doubtful.
